सेवा प्रेमम्– To love, is to serve
Where self-care meets service, and inner peace meets purpose.
यस्य आत्मा आत्मना जितः, स आत्मैव बन्धुः, यस्य आत्मना जितः, स आत्मैव रिपुः।
For one who has conquered his mind, a mind is best of friends, but for one who has failed to do so, a mind is the greatest enemy.
जिसने अपने मन को जीत लिया है, उसके लिए मन सबसे अच्छा मित्र है, लेकिन जिसने ऐसा करने में असफल रहा है, उसके लिए मन सबसे बड़ा शत्रु है।

Spirituality is an individual's journey to connect to something greater than themselves. These greater figures can be either the universe, gods and goddesses, religion, notion of a creator who had created the world and everything in it, the people's higher selves themselves, conscience or spirit guides, animals, etc.
It is deeply a personal experience and it can vary greatly from one individual to another. It is overall an essence which is aimed at finding balance in one's life, making the individual free of impure thoughts and filling in love, kindness and growth.
Mindfulness as the name itself suggests is a practice of drawing attention and focus to the present moment, task or lesson. It talks of being 'mindful' about what we have or what we are accomplishing at the present moment. This practice eliminates distraction and worries which do not require our attention while we are entangled in other meaningful tasks.
It doesn't only create and strengthen focus and awareness; it also improves stress management and the way the person processes emotions and makes decisions. It creates an optimal way of channelling emotions and creates self-awareness and gratitude within the individual.
It is achieved through single-tasking, meditation, pranayama and exercise.
Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India thousands of years ago and has evolved into a popular form of exercise and mindfulness around the world. It involves a combination of physical postures (asanas), controlled breathing (pranayama), and meditation or relaxation techniques designed to unite the body, mind, and spirit.
Through regular practice, yoga can significantly improve flexibility, strength, and balance, while also supporting cardiovascular health, joint mobility, and posture. Beyond the physical benefits, yoga is widely known for its positive impact on mental well-being. It helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by promoting mindfulness and encouraging a deeper connection to the present moment.
Yoga, when combined with spirituality, becomes more than just a physical exercise—it transforms into a journey of self-discovery and inner growth. When combined with spirituality, yoga becomes a holistic practice that nurtures the body, mind, and soul.
Originating from ancient Indian philosophy, yoga was traditionally a spiritual path aimed at achieving union with a higher consciousness. Alongside physical postures, it incorporates meditation, breath control, and ethical principles to promote inner awareness and personal growth. This deeper approach helps individuals connect with their true selves, cultivate mindfulness, and find a sense of peace and purpose.
Spiritual yoga offers more than physical benefits—it encourages a balanced, harmonious life rooted in compassion and self-awareness.
Yoga and mindfulness are deeply interconnected practices that support mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being. While yoga involves physical postures, breath control, and meditation, mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware in each moment without judgment.
Together, they help individuals tune into their bodies, calm the mind, and develop a greater sense of inner peace. Practicing yoga mindfully enhances the benefits of each movement and breath, turning physical exercise into a meditative experience.
This combination reduces stress, improves focus, and fosters a deeper connection between the body and mind, leading to a more centred and balanced life.
The evolution of our Yog & Spiritual Club
The club was founded in the year 2023 collectively by faculty coordinator Dr. Puja Singh Mam and senior students Vaibhav sir and Jayesh Sir.
The club was initially aimed at Spreading spiritual Knowledge and educate people on the benefits of Yoga and Mindfulness in everyday life. It stands by the notion of spreading awareness and educating people to live with a strong purpose.
In its earlier days, the club had faced resistance getting started, low attention as it was new and inactivity due to the smaller number of people working in the club. There were hindrances and doubts while starting, but with sheer will and optimism, everyone associated, made it work.
Over the small span of time the club was established, it had seen various challenges, growth and accomplishments. The club had organized various successful major and minor events and it had successfully created a family of associated members, faculties and alumni, who have devoted their time and efforts to lay the strong foundations of the club.
At the present moment, the club has rich connections and an extensive network of active members, faculties, alumni and associated spiritual centres. The club is highly active and is hosting events, mentor sessions and gatherings regularly. The club is marking its essence being an establishment surging successfully and gaining recognition in a short period of time, and also being proud of its achievements.
The club envisions expanding its outreach by continuing to share spiritual knowledge and life-enriching wisdom through creative and engaging platforms. Our mission is to guide individuals toward an optimal, balanced lifestyle rooted in Yog, mindfulness, and optimism. By fostering a supportive and uplifting community, we aim to inspire more people to embrace a healthy, purposeful, and conscious way of living.
